Just because I miss him as Mozart a lot ^^
This is the last scene in the performance, Mozart was dying from unknown illness - probably poisoned - hence he was unable to finish his last work, Requiem. His genius, Amade, who was also his demon stuck the pen to his veins, drawing blood..basically in the end, his own genius killed him.
But can’t deny it that this part is a very difficult part for him - the song itself sounds difficult and he had to sing it sitting down. Watching the musical with my own eyes, I feel very proud of him as the musical is actually very very challenging, especially for idols his age and his experience. That he is listed number three as the most powerful idol in musical below highly talented and experienced sunbaenims, Hyunseung has really done justice to his own fight.
Listen to his acting voice as the dying Mozart..for me it feels very harrowing..
Hyunseung’s strength is definitely in sad, angsty scenes XD

YJ’s Kim Junsu was chosen as the idol with the strongest ticket power for three years in a row.
The August 8 broadcast of OBS’ Unique Entertainment News lined up idols from no. 1 to 5 under the theme, ‘2012’s powerful musical idols’. The rank showed, in order, JYJ’s Kim Junsu for Elisabeth, Super Junior’s Sungmin for Jack the Ripper, B2ST’s Jang Hyun Seung for Mozart!, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun for Catch Me If You Can and 2AM’s Chang Min for La Cage Aux Folles as the idols that sold the most tickets for their musicals.

You can assume that this happened at least before the 1700s when the musical prodigy Mozart had lived. In the musical <Mozart!>, Mozart goes through horrible growing pains. For Mozart, who left his home to find freedom, he grows up tasting the sweet and bitter flavors of society. However, he realizes that he had grown up as a person after he loses his mother and father. In the end, he dies not being able to finish his Requiem (music to encourage the souls of the dead).Mozart grew up listening to the people call him a prodigy. His life strangely resembles an idol who lives and dies from popularity. Maybe that’s the reason, but you can feel that the <Mozart!> Jang Hyunseung (BEAST) challenged goes beyond the boundaries of imagination and reality. Jang Hyunseung approached this first chance at musical acting through <Mozart!>. He must have gone through so much pressure with his sunbae JYJ Kim Junsu finishing the musical very successfully and as he was casted with Park Euntae and Im Taekyung. However, Jang Hyunseung put all the behind and stood proudly as the prodigy Mozart at the Sejong Culture Hall.Because it was his first time, there were a lot of things he was clumsy at. He didn’t lose his focus and concentration, but it was expected of him. The movements he made wasn’t natural and it resembled more of a calculated movement. However, music was on his side. He filled his acting with his singing. At the sound of his voice longing for love with his two arms wide open, even the Japanese audience who came to watch the performance automatically clapped for him.<Mozart!> that began on July 10th ended on the 4th few days back. Jang Hyunseung had successfully completed his first challenge and returned to his original occupation as a singer. To him, <Mozart!> was a chance and a part of his growing pains. The decisions he make in the future will clearly show from now on.
agreed about the calculated movement. even in dancing, sometimes, he seems too focused and afraid to make mistake that he forgot to enjoy it.
anyway, for a first timer, reading comments from those that watched it and the fancams, I can say he`ve done pretty damn well

August 2nd was Hyunseung’s last performance in Mozart. Although I couldn’t personally attend the musical myself, I am still very impressed by just watching the fancams. Thank you Jang Hyunseung for proving once again that Beast is a multi-talented group. B2uties are very proud of you! #ranzarthwaiting

It still feels like yesterday when I spazzed over this teaser of Mozart.
And then I went to Korea and watched him glowing on the stage - the actor Jang Hyunseung delivering his very own Mozart
It was earnest and engaging and baring for all the beauty of the soul…
He poured all of himself into it. He worked hard and now he is walking away with new skills and more experience.
To think that just a few years ago, some people criticized him as being emotionless, awkward, I still can`t believe he just accomplished a musical (a big one on top of that. and as the main character), as in ACTING
sure, he still got some flaws & his performance is not perfect, but if I were the one that criticized him back then, this is definitely a big punch to my face.
just look how far he had achieved & step forward in his career, all by his hard work, never endless practice, but continue to be humble (always saying that he was born with no talent) and ignoring the haters, I`m really glad to say you are my bias
